Sexual Assault in the Military Resources

Yesterday experts Debby Tucker (National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence) and Terri Spahr Nelson (author of For Love and Country: Confronting Rape and Sexual Harassment in the U.S. Military) ended our 2012-2013 National Alliance year with a timely and informative webinar, “Sexual Assault in the Military.” We were surprised by the similarities and differences in sexual assault in the military and civilian context and the unique barriers to changing the culture of sexual assault in the military. 100% of surveyed webinar participants were satisfied with the webinar, commenting on the presenters’ “depth of experience and knowledge” and thanking the Alliance for “a very useful training.”
