This short video by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), “Triggers and Cravings: What Is Addiction?” features former substance abusers and introduces information about the concept of the disease of addiction, how substance abuse changes the brain and the physical and psychological reactions when substance abuse stops.
