Are You Ready for Some Football?! And Sex Trade?

According to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot in an article on MSNBC, “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest human trafficking events in the United States.” In advance of the Super Bowl Sunday, learn more about what you can to to help this epidemic by participating in JWI’s National Alliance webinar “Teens Trafficked in the U.S.: How You Can Help.” National Alliance members can participate in the call at no charge; non-members are charged $25.

The webinar is facilitated by Christina Bain, director of the Program on Human Trafficking and Modern-Day Slavery within the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, and Robin Hassler Thompson, senior program director of Florida State University Center for the Advancement of Human Rights, and co-founder of the International Justice Connections, Inc.

The National Alliance sponsors monthly teleconferences, led by the country’s top experts on domestic violence. Our membership includes 3,000 organizations, from every state and six foreign countries, and covers the professional spectrum – attorneys, social workers, counselors, educators, advocates, DV organizations, task forces and clergy of all faiths.
