Even though we always set aside time in September to gather blog entries in anticipation of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the daily news inevitably and unfortunately provides all the DV-related content we need – in real time, month after month, year after year.

A gunman who killed three women and wounded four at a suburban Milwaukee spa yesterday was found dead six hours after an intense manhunt that locked down a shopping center, a country club and a hospital that treated some of the wounded, officials said… Cops said they believed the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute involving Haughton and his estranged wife, a hairstylist at the spa, who had taken out a restraining order against him last week.
